Proud owner of 1998 Limited

Hey all,
Just traded my 1995 SR5 for a 1998 Lmtd. The '98 has high miles on it (204k), but was well maintained with excellent records (as shown in pictures). I was wondering if there's anything that i should be concerned about as far as the longevity goes, i would love nothing more than to watch my truck roll over to 300k. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I know pikeman runner is getting near the 200k mark, and his truck is still running strong. Perhaps he can give you a couple of pointers on what he has done to his truck as far as maintainance.

I would suggest checking with the records to make sure that all fluids have been changed at the recommended times, that the timing belt has been done (it should have been done twice by now), and make sure that the rear axle seals are not leaking. Enjoy your ride!

Welcome from Texas to another proud 3rd gen owner. Someone kept some good maintenance records. Like was said, the main ones to check would be the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and then any leaks. Other than that, your runner should make it to 300k with no problem.
