PRP seats

Haven't heard much on the PRP seats. I was shopping around for seats a while back and just never pulled the plug. You can get a real nice Corbeau seat for the same price too. Also if PRP or whichever company you decide to go with has the choice of a wider seat, get that instead of the standard width. They seem to be very narrow, which would be real annoying as a seat for a DD.

The PRPs have an option for 2" wider and 4" taller seats which is worth considering after the info you just gave me.

Yeah I've asked 2 people who've had the corbeaus and they both told me they wish they had bought the wider ones lol so I assume it applies to most aftermarket seats.
 
I have no experience with the recline ones, but figure they are the same. But you might want the plus 4" to. The head rest I've had on any suspension seat, Beard (Redart) PRP, Hezco, Hunsacker, the top of the headrest all come to the bottom of my neck. I'm 6'. I'm also on the skinny side 150lbs, and the seat width seams to fit me good, so I do suggest getting the wider seat if you can fit it between the center console, door and still be able to use the recline handle.
 
If its not for racing I would just try to retrofit some Mercedes/BMW/VW Touareg seats it probably wouldn't cost much more and the quality and comfort is going to be simply unmatchable. + and you can get heated seats!
 
The key to daily driver seats is to get them without thigh restraints. The PRP's and the Mastercraft Rubicons, and some others are fine, but if you have to drag your leg across the thigh support it's going to be annoying and it will wear out the fabric in no time.
 
I've been looking into this some more and the recliners are 26" wide which is too big to fit with the center console. The fixed back are 22". Reclining is not that big of a deal to me, as once I find a comfortable position I usually stick with it. Now sliding mounts are important in case my wife drives or I want to push the seats all the way forward for sleeping in the back. Info on suspension seats in 3rd gens is pretty scarce.
