Pull and twist e brake

Has anyone replaced their pull and twist style e brake with the one that is in the center console? My 2wd truck has it and I want to switch it if possible.

Anything is possible it's just how much work you want to put into it

Well does the e brake with the P&T connect to the same place as the center console one? I didn't know if it was that simple or if I needed to mock something up.

Eventually both types connect to the cables that go to each rear drum.

That's where the 'anythings possible' part comes in. You just have to adapt the part from the handle in the cab to those two cables to make it work.

Personally, I think it's fun initiating drifts with the dash e-brake. But then again, I'm just screwing around in wet parking lots when I do it.

Shorter cables, handle, and hardware from a 90-96 Camry would be a good start. Check to make sure the ends of the cables will work with your brakes.
