Pulled a Spark Plug today 04 V-6

Today I pulled out a plug to inspect it and I snapped a few pics for yall.

04 V-6 27,500 Miles on the plug.

Looks like she is running lean? The plugs looked whitish grey.

The OEM plug was a Denso, I wrote down the part number somewhere, I will look and post it up later.

Any thoughts on why the plugs are so white?

BTW, I pulled the 3 plugs on the passenger side and they all looked the same.

They do look to clean (hot engine) but as long as you do not see any erosion of the electrode, then I would say that they are fine. If I were you I would want to see a comparison with someone else

what octane are/were you using? I know that for those that are stuck with 91 octane in the BMW world, they generally have a white electrode while us 93 octaners have a slightly darker coloration.

87 octane. Everyonce in a while I buy premium.
