Finally pulled of the nasty factory steps!

Lookin good. If my kids didn't use the running boards to get in and out, I'd prolly take 'em off too.....and they don't really bother me like they used to(the running boards and the kids).
 
I don't use them to get in and they are actually more in the way getting out. That being said, I think the truck looks better with them than without. To each their own I guess.

I actually like them too. I was planning on keeping them on my '01 until I get my sliders built, but they were just way too in the way of getting in and out. Tire clearance up front would have taken some creativity as well. They do make a rig look a little lower, but I don't care about that.
 
My 5'0" woman "needs" the steps but I do like how they keep mud from slinging all over the sides, jeje..... :cowboy:
 
I tool mine off pretty quick, but i agree that the truck looks more complete with them on. And my girlfriend didnt like climbing into the truck after i lifted it.
i found the westin steps to be most sufficient for 206 shipped from autoplicity.
