Pulled too far under a light and cannot see it.

Have had this problem, happen several times and have had to back up a bit to see it. Then a thought back to my childhood hit me. Way back in the days of a straight 8's my dad had a 1951 pontiac catalina. mounted on the front of the dash was a device called a prism light viewer which,when adjusted right will give you a view of the light with out backing up. Found a company that makes a replica and one has been ordered and will post a photo when I get it installed. Damn I hate getting old, but it sometimes helps.

I get that at times as well because of the sun shade or tint added to the top of the WS. That and I just pull up too far?

I will order one of those things right after I order the curb feelers - the little things that stick out from the lower fender to let you know when the curb is getting close.

Lift the 4R and hook up some 55w aux reverse lights. People will move for you when you're bigger than them and they see those reverse lights. Worked in my jeep.... of course with that windshield, I could stop 50 feet from the lights and they'd still be impossible to see.

Plan B: just don't stop under the lights. (you'll get used to it)

i've had it for a few years, it works well and i'd reccomend one if you live in an area with lots of overhead traffic lights

When this happens to me, I just pull a little further up, and look out the moon roof at the light.

Might just be the lights I stop at.. but if I cant see the top light.. i just look over to the side light that sits much lower... No special tools needed..
