Pulsing under hard acceleration on highway

Hey Guys,

First post here at t4r.org. My issue is one that's a bit hard to describe but I'll do my best. I have a bone stock 2000 Limited 4runner with about 135k miles. Under hard acceleration, mainly at highway speeds, I get a pulsing sensation throughout the car. Its almost like its not getting enough gas. Have any of you experienced this or does anyone have any likely culprits for causing this? Thanks in advance for your help.

secondary ignition misses and worn u joints. Either one can do it.

They call it spark knock. I though my tranny was going bad, until I changed the plugs.

Thanks for the response guys. I haven't changed the plugs and wires since i bought the car. I'll get on that and respond back with the result.
