Purcahsed a 2005 Limited yesterday

Yesterday, I purchased a black 2005 Limited 4-Runner with 4-WD and a V-8 engine. The vehicle, however, was not at the dealership in Nashville at which I made the pruchase. It is supposed to arrive within a week. The Limited I purchased will have side and curtain airbags. That is the main reason I went with a Limited. I absolutely wanted the side and curtain airbags.
By purchasing it yesterday, I will be able to get the sales tax deduction on my income tax return when I file in 2005. In Tennessee, we have a rather high sales tax, but NO INCOME TAX.
The Limited will come with the navigation system, which is something I know only a very little about and which wasn't one of the options I just had to have. However, all five Limiteds that were scheduled to arrive at the dealership had the navigation system in it. I have found the V-6 vs. V-8 debate has been very interesting. Ultimately, I decided that I would never regret having the V-8 and that spending the extra money on the V-8 would be worth it.

Congrat's sounds like you got a nice ride coming. I use to have several black cars/trucks. Nothing better looking when they are clean, just too much work for me anymore to keep them clean I'm getting old Good choice on that new VVTi V8.

Black vehicles

Pitbull, the last two vehicles I have purchase were black (a 1992 Chevrolet Beretta and a 1998 Ford Explorer) and I have, at times, been rather lazy in keeping them clean. I have somewhat decided that once I possess the 2005 black Limited I will be taking it to the car wash and just pay the money to have someone else dry it. I also need to have this new vehicle detailed much more freqently than the Explorer. I am going to aim for having it detailed about every six (6) months or so.
I am excited about the VVTi V-8. I live very near an interstate highway and a four-lane state highway and use both of those very frequently. I look forward to being able to use the power of that V-8 when trying to enter the state highway and particularly the interstate highway.

Congrats on the new purchase. My parents just took delivery of a new 2005 Limited V8 like yours but different color. You made a very wise choice going for that new V8. It is more powerful than than the previous V8 and I didn't regret getting that. I don't think there is a chance you will regret spending the extra money for that new V8! Good luck with it and make sure to post some pictures when you get it.

I just got a new 4runner in Morristown, tn last week. What is the deal with the sale tax on you tax return?? How do you file this, what papers do you need??
