Maybe... My answer is an extrapolated answer based on limited 5th gen knowledge and pretty good 4th gen knowledge. They are a lot the same...

UCA's allow for the alignment to be closer to ideal especially as you approach/exceed 3" of lift. They also allow for larger tires without having to push the tires out so much.

Definitly spend the money on UCAs. Not only the above reasons but it will also allow the wheel to travel a little lower too, ultimately giving more total travel.

Easy install (30 mins). Cheap and effective upgrade.

those light racing uca's are significantly cheaper, is there a significant drop in performances as well??

I'll depart from the crowd and say,, no. Not needed.

I have this lift on my TE with 285/70 REvo-2s on stock TE rims. I have no indications that the stock UCA is a problem in any way.
The reasons for NEEDING to replace the stock UCA is (generally) the inability to align, upper ball joint nearing its' articulation limit, and tire rub.

With the TT 'Ultimate' there is plenty of alignment adjustment range remaining for both caster and camber. At full drop (shock length limited) the upper ball joint has probably 10 degrees of articulation left. At full turn lock the 285 Revos have about 1/2-3/4" open space before touching the forward portion of the UCA, the rear is several inches away.

With the 7.5 inch rims a 295mm tire width is about the max limit, any larger and rim replacement would be in order. Here you could address rubbing problems with offset/back-spacing. Rubbing of the fender liner looks to be very likely at any tire above 295.

If you start to go silly big with tires, then aftermarket UCAs will allow a greater caster to improve road manners of the large tires.

With the IFS you have to stop the suspension drop at some reasonable point or you start to overstress the axle shafts and break things. I also own an FJ Cruiser and can attest that CV shaft breaking is not uncommon among the FJC crowd when the limits of the IFS is pushed.

But, hey, the aftermarket UCAs do look cool; especially when colored to match the coils. If we limited ourselves to only what we needed, what fun would that be?
