S Steve8v92 New member Dec 29, 2008 #2 I believe that is for your charcoal canistor if your vehicle has one, it is a big black tube with a diaphragm on top. That line should go to the diaphragm It wouldnt do much if unplugged except maybe idle funny. It's an EGR component
