For an RB bl and ARB snorkel!

I actually already have the bl but havent installed it. I just ordered the snorkel a couple mins ago from toytec! Cant wait to put this thing on. My gears and lockers and OBA will be installed on the 30th. Pretty excited for everything. Going to get new rims soon. Just gotta fig out which ones I want.

Very cool! Please post the pictures when you take them. With all the goodies that you are getting I would be execited too!LoL.
 
Im also getting some rims. Gonna keep that one to myself for a little bit though. Im thinking about getting a CBI front bumper. Think that would be a good upgrade from my ARB? Should I just keep the ARB?
 
I would just keep the arb. I know you were making a rear bumper for your runner, have you finished? Perhaps buy a roof rack?
 
You think? Is it better than the CBI? Yeah my dads work is making the rear bumper. I thought it would be done by now. Im not rushing theme though.
 
Theres an ARB roof rack for sale kinda close to me. It was on the guys 2000 4runner..Thought about picking it up. Whats a good price for those?

Why get rid of it, what's wrong with ARBs? They are getting a lot of crap for nothing around this site lately. I think the build quality on my ARB is spectacular. My welds look awesome. Especially when compared to some of the booger welds I've seen on some other brands' bumpers. I like CBI though, haven't seen one up close yet, but I'm thinking about getting a rear w/ sway away from them. I have been told their build quality is superb!
 
No I love my ARB wont be dissapointed at all if I have to keep it. Just seen this one for sale and thought about a change. Just didnt want to change if I would be downgrading..
 
IMHO the CBI would be a slight upgrade but there is nothing wrong with the ARB bumper you have now. To me that could be money spent on other mods instead of a minor improvement over what you have.
 
It would be close to an even swap after its all said and done. The CBI is already made and has been on a taco..Would there be any reason it wouldnt work?

Yeah, I know. But I want to see your install. How your re-route a Tacoma snorkel to the 3rd gen 4Runner. Several have done it but I haven't seen a good writeup. Then again I guess I haven't really searched.
