Okay...I just noticed something. The house behind the truck...those solar panels...do you, like, aim your 4Runner at that house, hit the Zombie switch, and blow out his fuse panel? Hope he has good surge protection.

I just ordered a rigid 40 inch light bar and Im excited to see how bright it will be.

Can you post a pic of your (headlights and the roof light bar only) on aimed down the street?

Man that is a sweet set up! I really like those switches too and I would like to get some for my 3rd gen. I read that you had to do a little trimming to make them fit, does anyone know how the 4th gen light switch slots compare to the 3rd gen light switch slots? The bottom line is, can I make the light switches fit in my 3rd gen?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but i haven't been able to find any info about this. I have a gobi rack on order for my 5th gen. but i haven't been able to find a 4runner specific mount for an awning. I plan getting the ARB awning. Did you just use a general "gobi stealth" awning mount like this one for a jeep GOBI Jeep JK ARB Awning Mounting Brackets
Or were you able to find other type of bracket for the 4runner.

I can't comment directly on the awning mount, but I will say that those mounts look exactly like the mounts for my hi-lift. With the obvious exception of a jack holder where there are just bolt holes on the awning mount.

I'm not sure, they might be a slightly different size for the 4runner rack, but I doubt it.

Have you tried calling Gobi or talking to RiDE?
