Q about installing electric fan

I'd like to install an electric fan in my '95. Is there an existing temp sensor or thermo switch in the factory cooling system that I can use to trigger the fan, or do I need to buy something aftermarket to get it to work? I noticed Advance Auto Parts carries a kit for adding an electric fan to a car, but I wasn't sure which one to get.

Thanks.

Theres a couple of coolant sensors, one for the gauge, one for the ECM, but they won't work for the fan. The fan needs one that closes at a certain point to turn on the fan and opens below that point to turn it off.

It's like an Off-On switch vs a dimmer switch.

One of the controllers Advance sells looks like it includes a temp sensor. Is there an unused port in the radiator or thermostat housing that would be a convenient place to add this sensor, or do I need to rig something?

Thanks.
