So I picked these up off of Amazon for $12. They came from China but appear to be well made. I was surprised to see the housing made out of actual aluminum. I was expecting some very cheap, near pot-metal alloy.
Anyways, I intend to use these are rock/camping lights. Nothing crazy, just enough to add some lighting under and around the truck during camping trips in case we have to pack/unpack/locate something near or under the truck in the dark.
My question is for anyone using something similar. How did you wire these, in parallel or series? I can't imagine there being a problem wiring these in parallel, simply grounding the ground wire and running a single hot to all the positive leads, but wanted to check first. I'm thinking 2 under each bumper, and 2 under each rocker so running a single wire make it simple.
