Figured I'd make a thread for my T4R specifically and any pics I take in the future and such.

No, I haven't driven it yet. Stupid doctor's orders. Having just ridden in it for 24 miles w/ the wife, I LOVE it. The whole truck has a great, quality feel to it, the bluetooth and ipod integration are seamless, the ride is smooth and quiet. Looking forward to 20 or so years w/ this thing. So happy w/ it.

It is an SR5 w/ premium package (blizzard pearl exterior, black interior), moonroof (no convenience package), backup camera, upgraded stereo.

Any pic requests, for those of you playing the waiting game, let me know. We'll be doing a small photo shoot tomorrow.

Congrats man!!

Congrats Quentin!!!
I did'nt think you were ever going to get it!You have more patience then me ,that's for sure. The Blizzard Pearl is absolutely stunning in person.I would have bought the BP if I had seen it before I ordered my Silver.
Cheers:hatsoff:

Damn pretty truck!!

Best of luck with it!

Pat

My wife continues to be correct when picking out color combos. I wasn't crazy about the Blizzard Pearl and black interior until I saw it in person. Love it now. It was the same way w/ her Pepper White Mini Cooper.

Congrats Quentin!!!

It was a difficult wait. My dealer said it would be in by Thursday and I only have it today because they rushed it off the truck at 4:00PM today. The wife is making me go to bed. I wanted to spend all night out w/ the truck tinkering.

One day I intend on having a BP TE look-alike. I just need to mangle up the hood and bumpers to justify it. *knocks on wood to not do any of that*

Congrats man.
I hate doctors orders. I was held up for three months and was instructed not to drive. I had an S4 sitting in the garage that was new to me, I ended up going nuts 2 months into it and snuck out for a boot. When I got home my wife was PISSED bigtime...screaming that someone with a broken back, cracked ribs, colapsed lung and paralysis shouldn't be driving and all? Not sure if she was worried about me or my car.

What's holding you up? Looks like left leg, are you not able to use the right too?

Great pics Quentin! Blizzard Pearl w/ black interior is gorgeous--my 2nd choice exactly. The third pic makes the 4R look kind of petite--which is so unusual cuz when I'm seeing them on the road they are rugged beasts!

Enjoy it once you get off the crutches and keep us posted on the experiences. :thumb3:

Thanks! My 5'8" 145lb frame does tend to make vehicles look petite. ;) The real reason is the length of lens on my DSLR, I'd say. I do feel like it isn't such a huge monstrosity now that I've poked around it and the wife is really starting to like driving it. Happy wife; happy life.

ACL replacement surgery last Tuesday. My right leg works fine and I normally drive a stickshift, so it isn't like I don't have the capability of driving the 4Runner w/ just one good leg. I'd say reason, more likely, is the fact I have an active prescription to take narcotics for the pain. I also believe there is some legal liability w/ maimed legs and driving. When I was 15, my mother broke her leg, so I had to drive like 8,000 miles on a learners permit when she wasn't allowed to drive.

Damn, that is exactly the configuration I want, Blizzard with black leather interior. Did you get the slideout thing in the rear? If you did not Id like to see a pic of the rear cargo area without the tray, Im not too fond of it and would likely order a sr5 without it.

Here it is with a cargo mat installed.

I'm uploading 27 pictures and that is one of them. I should have them ready shortly.

It's nice to see someone in the picture with their 4R.

congratulations on your wonderful purchase and your wife's taste in colors :thumb3:

Congrats, it looks great!

What a good week you've had- new T4R and the Mountaineers are in the Final Four! I'll be cheering for WV tonight [no ties to the school, my Gators made their expected early exit . . .] because I'd rather see them win than Duke.
