Will an airbag from 2000 4runner fit in 2001 4runner

should, yea. make sure the dealer is involved on this, dont mess with airbags.

The biggest difference in 2001 is that it has VSC and I don't see how that affects the air bag. lee is right, this is more of a dealer question as they know more than this forum on this type of stuff.

should fit. just make sure the battery is unplugged. no need to get the dealership involved its a simple task
