Question about Borla Cat Back Exhaust. (noise level)

I'm thinking of getting a Borla exhaust, but I want to know about the noise level.

If anyone has one, how loud is it? I know someone who has an aftermarket exhaust on a Suburban, and that thing is loud.

I want it to have a nice sound (something like an Infiniti FX35/45), but nothing that can get me ticketed. Btw, if someone knows what the db limit in NYC is, let me know, because I can't find it anywhere.

Seemed to have misplaced my DB meter - had it right handy with my light meter too. Yeah - its louder - especially at 2000 RPMs. It won't put you in ticket range though. Wife will complain for sure. I got if you wanted a hot rod why did you get a 4Runner?

rephrased - My wife said "If you wanted a hot rod ((meaning the loud Borla exhaust I added) then why did you get a 4Runner -- meaning why didn't I just get a Nissan 350 ZX?"

I've have it on my V8 4Runner for 20k miles and I'm happy with the system. It's not that loud at all, I would prefer it to be a little louder, but it does sound nice and you definitely will NEVER get a ticket for loud exhaust with it.
