Question about Borla exhaust

I got a 2006 SR5 V6, will it be fine if I buy the Borla exhaust which is suppose to be for the V8 4runners, and put it on my 4rnr? Will there be any fitment issues or damanging to my 4runner? From what I've read so far, it sounds like some of you guys did put the V8 exhaust on your V6.

There are two different part numbers base on dealer's Accessories catalog. So, there's may be some fitment issues. Here in Florida the X-PS model comes with Borla exhaust system as part of the package, and they are all V6. Do youself a favor, test drive a X-PS 4Runner just to hear the sound before you order ur Borla. Personally, I don't like the sound of Borla on V6. However, it sound great on V8 engine.

You will pay more then double for the name. If that's the case you should get the designer brand-name and pay triple, JAOS.

The Borla system can be had for less than what's shown on Borla's site. Retail is over $1000, but a Toyota dealer in Florida (Courtesy Toyota) sold me my Borla setup for a few hundred less. I like Borla... sounds similar to the TRD setups I've heard. I haven't experienced the Magnaflow, but I'm sure it's good, too. Just different - a matter of preference.
