Question about caster on JBA UCA’S

I had jba high caster UCA’s installed on my car with the lift and it was aligned to about 2 degrees of caster
If I have it realigned and moved to 4 degrees of caster will that move my tire farther away from my body mount so I would have less of a rubbing issue? Or am I missing the concept of caster adjustment

Increasing caster by adjusting the LCA bolts (the normal way) will move the wheel forward, so if that's what you want, yes, go ahead and do it. The JBA high caster UCA's moved the upper ball joint back, contributing to your rubbing.

2 deg is too low for optimum handling. You'll likely be happier with 4 degrees. Tracking stability should be quite a bit better.

It really depends on the overall adjustment. You're not going to be able to adjust the caster without affecting the camber as well, so you may not be able to get to the spec that you want. Part of the issue also could be that your eccentric bolts are seized, which is very common, so they were only able to adjust it to where it is now.
