question about clutch fluid...

The clutch fluid in the wifes runner is old, and kinda dark brownish. If i flush all the fluid, replace it with new dot3, will it improve clutch pedal feel?

I'm not sure what the factory manual calls for, but I think you are correct (DOT3 sounds right). Dark brown is bad and will plug up the valve between the master and the slave cylinder. Flushing it and replacing the fluid would definitely help. If it doesn't work, you may have to pull the mast slave out and rebuild it.
