Question about etc pwr

Hi there i am a 96 sr5 t4r. And i've been using 4wd almost since the biginng but i havent use the ect pwr coz im not sure what is that for, so any information will be helpfull

It changes the shifting sort of like a "sport mode". Shifts up later. I think its meant for towing but I turn it on quite often when i feel like being more zippy in traffic.

I leave it on all the time. I find the shifts feel sluggish if I turn it off.

Same here. I find it helps when going up hills now that I have bigger tires.
