question about guard grilles...

hey guys not sure if this has been answered yet, but i have a 2003 4runner with the sports bumper. my question is can i still be able to get guard grilles for my car with the bumper? /if anyone knows of a website i can find grilles with that specification, that would be great!

with my bull bar, you wouldn't because the clearance is tight. it fits pretty snug with your bumper and i like it. check out the link to the pics in my sig. vcoglian has a good pic showing how close it is to the bumper here:

i'm pretty sure most guards fit snuggly like that, so the sport bumper trim must be taken off.

hey thanks alot man for the link with the pictures, so i guess its bye bye sports bumper, what a waste of $500 bucks! thanks man for the welcome, i will post my 4runner asap to give you guys a heads up on things!

yea really.......500 bucks for something that does nothing to protect your car, whereas mine was about 400.

just a note, if you take off the sport bumper, you may have some mounting spots on the original bumper. not sure but there is another thread here about someone trying to replace a sport bumper.

i also want to install a manik brush guard, but i dont want the spots on the front bumper after taking off the sport bumper.

Hi guys,
I just got a S/S bull bar with skid plate low bar 2.5" for $350 and a S/S single pipe rear bumper guard for $270. How does these prices sound to you? too high? i saw some on ebay for cheaper. any prices info will help. thank you!
