Does anyone know the maximum tire size I can have with the Daystar 2.5/2 and X-REAS?

I think 275/70/17 is the biggest that fits without appreciable rubbing (and you can carry one in the spare tire carrier). Many use 285/70/17's with that lift but trimming is necessary and the stock UCA (upper control arm) will rub when the wheel is cut all the way. Good luck!

I would really like to fit a set of 285/7-/17's on. If there are lift out there that will allow me to do this without trimming?
Start here on suspension research. If you plan to off-road- go for a coil over setup.

With 285's you'll new wheels or spacers or new upper control arms to avoid rub. You also can't use a 285 in the spare tire location- so a tire rack will be needed too. Can't run different sized tires with full time 4x4 systems.
