Question about new set of wheels

I am looking to purchase slightly used wheels as an extra set for my 2007 T4R SR5 V6 4WD. The existing OEM specs. of my wheels are, I believe:

Wheel size 17"x 7.5JJ.
Bolt pattern: 6 lug x139.7mm (5.5")

Can anyone explain what "offset" specs. mean? Also what is the vaelu of "offset" I should look for which will fit my truck?

Some ads show the "offset" to be 15 and others 30. Not sure what the units are -15mm or 15 inch"??

I have called my local Toyota dealer but they were unable to give me my OEM wheels "offset" value.

Will the OEM FJ Cruiser wheels fit? Looks like it might as some members have already installed them on T4R's.

I will be mounting 265/70R17 tires on them.

Any input will be appreciated.

Yes, FJC wheels will work. The 15mm is offset and is a similar but different way of expressing backspace (usually expressed in inches). It's in fact more accurate as 15mm of offset is still 15mm of offset regardless of rim width. 4" of backspace on a 7" rim is very different than 4" of backspace on 9" rim.
