question about the rhino hitch step bar

so i got the bar a few weeks ago and i noticed that the left side hangs lower than the right. To make sure it was the bar and not the hitch I put it on a level surface and saw that it was leaning on the left side rather than being level on both sides. Has anyone else noticed this or is mine a defective... and should i exchange it for another one.

I have a similar issue. One side of mine doesn't hang lower than the other, rather the step isn't entirely parallel to the bumper (left side is slightly closer to the bumper than the right).

I thought about exchanging mine but 3 people I asked didn't notice until I pointed it out. That plus I park in the street and people "park by feel" off the step (instead of the bumper) which would cause it to move a bit anyway...

well im having it sent back to amazon... this is my second return. the first one had a small dent in it. they said they are gonna look into it and see if the whole batch they received were defective... so im not sure if i'll even get another replacement. its pretty noticeable so thats why i sent it back.

I would send it back as well. You paid good money and it's not to your satisfaction. I know that the step being crooked doesn't make it any less functional but I wouldn't like it. If it was noticeable and I was driving behind the person, it would also catch my attention. I would then think - "hey man, your step is crooked".

so I got my new go rhino hitch today and this time the box actually came intact and without any damage at all... i was pretty shocked since the first two came with messed up boxes.

I'm happy to say that this time the bar actually looks parallel to the bumper and doesn't have any obvious defects. Suffice to say, if you buy from amazon make sure you check it, and if its messed up get a replacement.
