Question about Toytec Ultimate Lift

I am new to this lift kit stuff... So I am think of purchasing a ultimate lift but I was wondering since this lift is a threaded adjustable shock adjustable with the spanner wrench is it the same concept as the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks with clips?

for example on the adjustable shocks with clips if you get the pre assemble kit from toytec the lowest setting on adjustable shocks gives you 2 or 3 inches of lift. Is it the same concept for the threaded adjustable shocks? If you set the threaded adjustable shocks to the lowest thread how much lift will you get?

Same concept as in they both lift the vehicle yes, but they do it differently. I may be wrong and I am sure others will chime in.

the Billies with clips pre assembled, comes with taller springs to achieve the lift. you get 2.5" lift from coils alone and the springs are set at the 2nd notch probably. so with this set up you only have 4 different heights you can choose from.

Ultimate lift is a coilover setup. adjustable for lots of different heights, you can really fine tune how your vehicle is set up. These will ride and perform better than shocks and springs. looks like 1" on lowest

Not sure on your question, but I just installed the ultimate life on my runner a month ago. I got 3 inches of lift the way they came and love the way it looks and rides. I know one of the selling features was you can adjust them on the truck instead of removing them like you will have to with the adjustable shocks. It was a fairly easy diy to install, a big pry bar makes the job a lot easier too. Are you going to get new uca's too? I got the light racing ones with my kit. IMG_0277.jpg

No i am keeping my stock uca

When I installed my Ultimate lift, I had to adjust them where I wanted them. The Toytec rep told me that they are not pre adjusted. So when you get yours ready to install go ahead and set them all the way down to make it easier to install, and then adjust them up to where you need them. You will need to leave your sway bar off until you get them set, because that is the only way I had enough room to make the adjustment. Hope this is helpful
