Question about Volant CAI on 4.7L V8

I just installed the Volant CAI on my 2007 with the V8. Is anyone else as worried as I am that the thing could shake itself off of the throttle after hitting a lot of bumps (or offroading, just to name an extreme example)?

The intake pipe just hovers inside the filter box and there's nothing supporting the pipe except the sleeve attaching it to the throttle assembly. I know the stock intake attaches to the box via wire clamp and thus made the entire intake a solid body.

I was thinking of wrapping adhesive backed foam weather stripping to form something of a gasket around where the pipe enters the filter box so that there will be some support on that end to reduce pipe movement.

Thanks for the tip Chaz. It's pouring rain tonight so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try anything.

I've got adhesive backed pipe wrap to experiment with. I also tried the neoprene cap method on the exposed hole in the front of the box today but there was some hesitation at my second shift point so I think I'm gonna go without it for now. It might have something to do with the air path in the box due to the filter design (it didn't come with the PowerCore filter) where air is drawn from the sides instead of the top of the filter. I saw a cone filter at Advance today for ~$25 that draws air from all sides and the top. If I'm brave enough I'll play with it and see what happens.
