Question about windows being half way down...

When my windows are not down all the way, they seem 'loose'. There is a lot of play, you push them in and out quite a bit. Especially on the rear window. They rattle when going over bumps.
i noticed this a while ago, but i figured it is normal. But I just wanted to check if anyone else has this issue? I'm worried about them breaking if my windows are half way down and I slam the doors to hard or something..
Anyone?

That's one of my pet peeves....slamming doors closed while windows are half-way open. Not good for the window, as they start to rattle over time.

I just noticed this last week on my rear window when my dog was back there pushing on it. Doesn't seem to happen with any other windows, but definitely poor design on the rear.

Which is why with windows, I either have them closed or open all the way.

Glass held by a flimsy bracket isn't meant to take on the weight of a dog pushing against it or resting on top of it.
