I have a guy that will install My OME 2.5 lift (rear springs and front spacers ) and replace shocks for $125.00 (install price only ). Ive known him awhile, so I trust him. My question is, can I use Monroe stock shocks or will I need something differant. Also, I hear about damage to the cv's. What can I do to prevent this. It's a 2001 2x4 and I wont be doing any offf roading. Any advice? Thanks

you shouldn't be too worried about the angles on your cvs with what you'll be running. but to be safe i would recommend a 1" differential drop, available at toytec and sonoransteel

No need he's 2wd so no issues should be encountered since no CV angles to worry about.
