Question for a new guy on my 2024 TRD Off Road

Just wondering do I have to be in 4WD Low for my Rear Differential to lock in place, or will it work also in 2WD High and 4WD High. I haven't used my vehicle in the 4WD Low as of yet and just wondering what features will work in what ranges, I realize not all will not work in all gear ranges. Thanks for your answers.

The stock Toyota diff lock in the 4Runner will engage only if the transfer case is in 4Lo. It's all in your owner's manual - there is a set procedure and a light that will tell you when the locker is actually engaged. It's not an instant thing.
