Click to expand... If that is the lower ball joint. The torque spec is 103 ft lbs. Undo the castle nut and rétorque it to spec replace the cotter pin.

0 02SE Senior Member May 22, 2022 #4 That is the boot on the lower ball joint. They are designed to purge a little grease under some circumstances. There is still grease being contained by the boot. There's no reason to loosen the castellated nut and re-torque. IT"S FINE.
