Theres a 94 4runner 5spd for sale around where i live, it has no transmission so it is cheap, but i have contacts to get a trans. I was wondering if a 5spd from a 87 4 sylinder would fit in a 94 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder. Also he just put a timing chain in it a while ago but he hasnt been driving it much i dont think. Is there any way for me to check if there was damage done to the engine if the timing chain broke, im not sure if it broke or was just getting bad. thx
