Question on bull bars/brush guards

Hello everyone! New guy here. I just bought a 97 4runner SR5 and I was thinking about installing a bull bar/brush guard. I was wondering if ARB has a winch-capable bull bar that would fit on my 97 SR5? I'm assuming I would have to go with a tacoma bar? Could someone let me know if any mods are necessary or does the ARB tacoma bar fit my truck. Thanks! Pete

Yes, the taco bullbar fits nicely. ARB never made one specifically for the 3rd gen 4Runner so you will have to remove the flange plate on the end of the chassis rails, its easy. There are hundreds of places that sell these so a few minutes online will get you a part number (if you haven't done that already).

clarification of terms

ARB/TJM/Shrockworks bumpers=good choice and more $$$

Brush guards=not as good choice but less money/often deform on impact causing more damage to your vehicle.

I also run the ARB "Taco" bumper and it fits great.
