Question on fuel Injector

Yes. If an injector has a poor spray pattern or cannot deliver the proper volume of fuel for combustion you can get what is known as a lean misfire where there is more air than fuel to disrupt the air/fuel mixture. What codes are you getting? Most engine troubles are rarely caused by a bad fuel injector. If there are a lot of miles on the engine you could have carbon build up.Carbon is like a sponge and this could cause a lean misfire. First check all ignition components igniter, coil, cap, and rotor and wires if you have a 96 or older model

How many miles do you have? What year is your 4Runner?
