Hi Everyone,
I am getting ready to replace my shocks and front end suspension. Getting ready to order stuff today.
I need some advice on the UBJ's/LBJ's, etc. I want to replace the upper and lower, and was wondering what else I should replace while I got it torn apart.
My thoughts are:
1) Steering rack bushings with polyurethane ones.
2) Tie rod ends both inner & outer.
3) Control arm bushings upper and lower.
FYI: I am buying all OEM stuff.
I am also replacing the shocks. I am stock ride and won't be lifting this until I get another daily drive, so I am going to keep it stock. Any advice on a good set of shocks which won't break the bank (with links would be awesome!), please let me know. I care most about the comfort and ride quality, since I use this as a daily driver.
If you have links to good bushings mentioned above and/or good deals on shocks, it would be greatly appreciated.
Side note on stuff I am planning on doing very soon:
1) going to get a quote for a paint job (either stock desert dune or matte black). If it is too much, I am going to rattle can it myself until I can afford a good paint job.
2) installing my satoshi mod grill and painted skid plate this weekend.
3) touching up my painted wheels. They have lasted pretty good for bring done over two ago.
4) going to do a trade with a wrecking yard for some work they need done, to pick front and rear bumpers, drivers front fender and a sport hood.
