Question regarding Pioneer Z110BT camera issue

Basically I tweaked with some settings while I was bored in the parking lot waiting on a friend. I mistakingly messed with camera settings where it rendered my nav unit useless. It says Camera image may be shown in reverse or whatever... - I attempted to turn on/off engine, changed gears into reverse with ebrake on but no success. I emailed Pioneer and this is their response to me

Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.

Do you recall setting the camera polarity setting to ground?
If this is the case, you will need to provide a ground signal to the
reverse wire (violet/white) and remove that signal.
This will temporally get you back into the system.
You will need to make the following setting change.

Press the Home button.
Select Settings.
Select System Settings.
Select Back Camera.
If you do not have a back up camera set to Off.
If you do have a back up camera, leave it On.
Select Polarity and set it to Battery.

I did not install the nav unit myself and lack experience in troubleshooting. However I am open minded to learning how to troubleshoot if someone can guide me in the right direction. T4R search did not help much and the support representative seemed to be harsh - and understandably so. Probably does not have time to deal with customers who never installed a head unit before.

What do I exactly have to do in regard to getting a ground signal? Any writeups that shows step-by-step for this? I also have the same issue with my other 4Runner so I might as well learn how to fix it so I don't have to spend money at an audio shop that might take like 30m.

you have to reset the unit, there should be a reset button that you press with a needle.
or you may have just put the camera mode on at all times like using it as a rear view.

Exactly correct - CSR said no there is no hard reset button on the unit so I have to do instructions as per the quote above - I was hoping to avoid opening up the dash to access the backside of the head unit itself to do a hard reset. Might just take it to an audio shop and pray they don't charge me a ridiculous amount to have it fixed. I do have a backup camera installed but it hadn't been working properly since installation...same with the GPS antenna. I was planning to have these issues addressed at one point later this Spring but with this issue I'm dealing with right now, I might as well get it over with. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post - appreciate it bud!
