That kit is bullshit. All spacer lifts sucks, but the Daystar is about $170 (front and rear) and comes with all that except the sway bar bushings which can be purchased from Energy Suspension for about $20-25. Not to mention, it doesn't look like this Skyjacker kit even comes with the longer bolts that are needed for the front strut assemblies (but thank God you get 4 zip ties with it - that must be where the extra $175 is going to).

For $365 you could literally get 4 brand new lift coils, have several choices to choose from, and still have $$ to spare. And IMO, Skyjacker makes the WORST quality lifts on the market.

I agree. Skyjacket sucks. :toilet3: ... says the armchair quarterback.

haha, yeah I guess that was a little harsh, but Skyjacker sucks. I've seen a few friends waste $$ on their crap.

I am glad that you where being honest vs. just saying go with it & etc :trophy:

that kit is bull sh*t stay far far away

I'm still looking for a lift kit for my 4Runner. I do not know if I want to do spacers or springs. Hell I have no clue what all my options are yet. :hungry:

I do know that my 4Runner is not a 4x4 but on the flip side it is a SR5 V6 2002 ;) I do plan on adding a lift to it with bigger tires & nice aggressive rims. I want to turn my 4Runner into something that turns heads & yet can go out & have fun in the sand, tow a pop up tent trailer. I have been thinking very hard for about 1 year not on turning the 4Runner into a BAJA/Pre Runner type of SUV. I do not plan on going to the extreme when it comes to off road fun but I do want to still go out & dirty. This will be a daily driver.
