Questions about the J shifter on a 98 SR5 manual

Sure enough it's just the light or switch that's finicky in the cold. ADD was fine at least when I checked it this morning despite light not coming on, granted it was a bit warmer today than it has been (always sucks trying to diagnose stuff that only happens in the cold lol). I'll probably take the switch out and clean it up so if that fixes the problem. Not a big deal but it's nice to have the green light come on for peace of mind that I'm in 4wd and not just 3wd.

Same issue as one of mine. That's something you fix when it's warm out and working in the area of the switch... Glad to see you got it figured out and it working.
