Just bought 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4. It has 165,000 and I paid $5000 for it. I feel like I got a pretty good deal. What are some of the service items that I should get checked out? I am planning to take it to the dealer next week to get everything checked out and anything fixed that it might need (shouldn't be much). It does have some rust, not that the mechanic could fix it, but are there any underbody components I should give special attention to because of the rust? Any tips or pointers you would give to a new 4runner owner would be helpful.
