Because all the aftermarket ones I see on cars around here are for looks and the fools don't adjust them properly. I don't mean to pigeon hole you in that group of people leftyguns, just saying they are dangerous if not done properly. And I can't look the other way, I have to see the road in front of me.

Well I won't have that problem with the headlights not being adjusted correctly I have a full setup for setting up headlights uses laser calibration with front wheel sensors and a sensor that is set a certain distance from the vehicle in front of it. You can set them up perfectly. Got the kit courtesy of the Toyota Dealer I used to work for. One of the adapters broke & they ordered a new one the service manager said I could keep the old one. It's like a $800 setup. I do agree that HIDs if not done properly can be a hazard to other drivers but I definately need brighter headlights. I can't see 50ft in front of my runner with the stock headlights. I have tried the NOKYA's and other high wattage bulbs before they did provide brighter light but they had a tendancy to overheat & blow out not to mention put a stress on the factory headlight wiring. I beleive HID lights would be the best for me.

i was the same way w. my headlights..and i do alot of country driving and mtn driving at night (with hardly any other drivers around and no street lights) so i needed a better set of lights...mine are aimed but yet again i sit higher then say a car so of course they are going to look bright..not any brighter then a car w. stock HIDs though. what i do when i see a car w. bright lights or high beams on...i just look to the right lines on the road until the car passes and have no issues w. blindness
