questions / opinions on lift

My 06 v8 4x4 has some changes to suspension already done.

I pulled Xreas at 60k miles and put on FJ 4x4 springs and shocks ect at all 4 corners and a 1/2" CF spacer in front (1"lift height) and also have been running 265/70/17's (32") tire since the first day i bought it and i am also running FJ wheels for a slightly wider stance . (see sig at bottom). With all this done tires and FJ springs I am approx. 1" higher in rear and 2" higher in front over stock 4R (give or take) .

I want to lift a little more and have a 6pc Daystar kit sitting in my garage . I dont know if I should do springs and shocks or put the DS kit in instead ???? since I am already running heavier springs and shocks with the FJ stuff. I don't need a stiffer ride or more flex , I do great off road as it is. I just want a little more height / clearance . I will stay with the same size tires 32" 265/70/17 , but will be replacing them and maybe doing some aftermarket rims (not sure though , depends on what I see/find)

Im at 81k miles so far , no problems with anything .

I'd do shocks/coils.

I've been researching and have now answered my own questions. I planned on a 3/2 level, but for $200-250 more I can do shocks and coils with a front spacer.

To me, the parts will need replaced eventually anyway so I might as well do them all while I'm at it.

You could turn around and get $100 from the FJ coils/shocks/struts that are on it now.
 
how much higher u want to go , im guessing 1 in. more? something like 3/2? if so, & u want to keep about the same ride, id say ditch the 1/2 front CF spacer , keep the FJ stuff & put in a 1 in. daystar in both front & rear. but if ya got the $, a whole new radflo or icon setup would be nice.
 
yes only to a 3/2 .

the DS lit and FJ stuff would put me right there .

See with springs/shock , I really wonder whats going be be the difference since I'll be using a front spacer anyway .

The springs/shocks combo I have a bought them from a guy on FJ forums , He instantly lifted his truck after purchase and gave the the whole set up. They have about 20k on them already .
 
u could get the adj. 5100s & reuse just the FJ springs, that will get u 3 in. also, & use a 1 in. spacer in the rear with a 5100 shock, & possibly sell the rest of the spacers on the forum. if u have the tokicos on now, the ride maybe a little firmer but IMO, not so much that u wont like it. but if ur worried about, just do like u said, use the setup u have with the DS. good thing about the adj. 5100 is u can change it if u dont like the setting without buying anything new.

I was leaning tword a spring a spring shock combo , but I cant find an answer for that . I was trying to get rid of spacers .

My suspension guy says to use the DS spacer kit .

I dont know ??????
