I'd say that would be a lot of gold/bronze. Considering I don't like gold to begin with I would definitely not put bronze rims on a gold runner IMO.

dude i would definatly go with black rims, bronze and chrome is toooo much, if u dont wanna go all the way black you should try some TSW's in gunmetal

Discount Tire should have a set of these by mid-week.

Sorry, I guess I'm too Old School to go for Black...but I don't like the Polished or Chromed wheels either.

I told Ripcord, I may have to change my user name to "Ode Skool" for this Forum.....:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Heck, if i get them I might even paint my Rear Drums......... Red :roadkill:

Ok, let the opinions and flames fly.......:moon:

:snacker:

LOL

Jean Luke, you are being kind of a hypocrite. Since you are wearing a red uniform, you clearly support team red.

The original TRD wheels are 16 x 7.5 and fit most Runners and trucks at $200 + per wheel.

The Level 8s I'm getting are half the price and are 16 x 8.5. But can be customized to look like the TRDs.

Yes quite yummy. which Toyota do these come off of?

I have only seen these in person once, and it was on a gold 2010 Tacoma. I deleted the picture off of my phone yesterday, but may still have it in old message logs, I will try to find it.

ALBPM, which Level 8's are those...?

Seems to me you should just get a set of Limited 5 stars and paint them yourself gunmetal or bronze. You could find a set of those for around $250-$300 and paint them for less than you'd spend on the level 8's. Unless you really wanted a 8.5" wide rim for some reason.

They are on and not as dark as I thought they might be...

These almost match the Dorado Gold color of my Runner perfectly..Like
they were made for my Runner.

Friggn amazing!!!

Plenty of clearance for the 285s and the 231mm calipers.

I think those are badass. I like the look of black ones but everyone else has them and I don't want what everyone else has. I give you mad props for being different. Plus they look sweet.

VERY NICE!! I have never seen that wheel before, ever. I may have gone with those if I had seen them during my "unique" wheel search. Hey, it even matches your gold tundra caliper!

And yes, very brave on going with bronze. It only works on gold and black trucks, and even then its still hit or miss. In this case..DIRECT HIT.

Are you still planning on stopping by on Saturday for the S/C? I REALLY want to see these in person!

Just tell me what time...I've been printing out pages from the Service Manual on the fuel pump replacement...

I can bring another jack and more stands.

Hey man,

I was good to meet you yesterday over at Ripcord's place. Having checked these out in person, I think they look great. They are definitely a great choice for your specific truck because they match the color scheme so well.

You probably won't see alot of these showing up on other trucks either, so they'll always be unique.

I was thinking about your old wheels, and I had an idea. Tell me what you think about this: We split them up between the 3 of us and use them as spares! That would be a perfect use for them because we know that they clear the 231's, they've got the right backspacing to clear the upper A-arms, and we all need a new spare now since the stock spare won't fit over the new calipers.
