Quick question about fog lights

I have installed the DDM tuning 5000k 35w hid kit for my headlights. I don't have the money to buy the Hella micro de fog lights so that I can put hids in the fogs. So my question is, can I get some where close to matching the color of my headlights just by adding new bulbs to my fogs?

I am not looking for lots of light output seeing how I can see perfectly fine with just the headlights. It's more for looks. Or is there a way to fit HIDs into the stock fog light?

Well as for trying to get a color match, i dont think ur going to be able to since halogen bulbs arent gonna be anywhere near the color of the HIDs... i have the same kit for my headlight and just ran with silverstars to give it a yellow look but not too aggressively yellow.

As for trying to fit the HIDs into my stock fog light i think its possible bc i planned on doing that but ended up with an ARB bull bar instead. Im not 100% certain but from the looks of it, it could be done with minor trimming but it may not be water tight tho even with halogens i had water seep in when i ran through 3ft deep mud holes.

Thanks man. I'm not real big on cutting on something like that. Lol. Now I just have to make the decision to buy the hids or not. If there was a write up on how to do it then I would go for it. I appreciate the reply.

so thats pretty much saying that if i want to put HIDs in the factory fogs, all i gotta do is modify the rubber boot????

Plus wire splicing plus a little tweaking of a tab...
and like i said the bulb keeper is different to our oem non hella fogs as you can see its a tight fit with the h3 hid bulbs. iended up bending the tab on the keeper to make it clip in to the original spot.
