Quick question for rear diff breather..need help
Quick question for rear diff breather:
All of the parts were ordered from Toyota and they are the correct parts, so with that being said...
I did the mod for turkey day, took 30 minutes:
The union would not tighten all the way down into the diff, I thought it would eventually tighten up and quit turning. (like most bolts do when screwing them into a nut) It never tightened up, so I quit turning the union in fear of maybe stripping the threads on the union...
Should I keep tightening the union and it will eventually tighten up or is the union in as far as it will go?
The union is screwed into the diff with no threads showing (but there is a small gap) and the union is just spinning with slight tension, but it is not tightening all the up.
Any thoughts?
