so it will be louder just i lose on the low end torque?
hmmm what about if i add high flow cat, will i get best of both worlds?

if there nothing wrong with ur stock cant you prob wont see any difference with a new one ... also if you just had the muffler put on wait awhile it will get louder

There is no benefit to removing the cat unless you do the entire exhaust system. The cats aren't the most restrictive part of the system.

To make it worthwhile to remove the cats you would need to install Long Tube Headers, High Flow Straight Through Mufflers, and High Flow 'Y' Pipe.

If you don't change all of the above first, you're making your car less driveable with the only benefit being more noise. You will also have to put up with a check engine light for no reason as well.

oh okay, well i had my borla put in with 2.5" piping about 6 months ago and i got the isr and deckplate all done with the airaid MIT tube and the true flow filter.

but does check engine come on when the cat is removed?
if so id hate to look at that everyday. so high flow cat is a no go?

what headers would be beneficially for the 3.4? i was looking for some before but people were saying not much benefit for price to benefit ratio?
