quick question on front spacer lift

Do I have to take apart the strut assemble to install these or do i just undo the top the assembly and stick the spacer in there?

It depends on what type of spacer lift you get. If it's a "pre-loading" spacer then you have to compress the coil and get it in there and then assemble it back together. If it's a top-out spacer, it should and usually does come with extended studs in which you just take the top end off, and replace the studs and fit the spacer in and bolt it back onto your truck.

Im getting the kit from toytec. OME spring for rear and the spacer up front...NOt sure if its a pre-loading spacer or not!?

That kit includes both types. The bigger one is the pre-loading spacer which you have to compress your coil to get in, and the thinner one is the top-out spacer and that is why you have extended studs included in that package. There are guys from toytec that are on the forums and they can help you too. They are really nice and knowledgable folks

Hmmm ok. thanks for the info there... will this make the ride a little firmer then? You would think so cause of the compression of the spring.

yes, the pre-load spacers are said to result in a stiffer ride.
