Quick Question- Tundra Bilstein 4600's with Eibach 3" Lift Coils

Hey guys so I have managed to purchase a nice used set of Tundra Bilstein 4600s with a 4runner top hat along with Toytec/Eibach 3" lift coils for a 3rd gen (pn: 112-620). I have been trying trying hard to find whether this set up will yield me a true 3" of lift, but can only find results from people that have used the Tundra 5100 shocks. It seems that everyone uses the 5100s and that's why I'm having a hard time finding some info on it. I've seen some things about people not using the 4600s as lift shocks but I have no idea.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

The Eibachs will give you 3'' regardless of what shock you're running. Unless its an adjustable that lifts it more. The Tundra 4600s will work but I wouldnt recommend it. They're a little too short for a lift spring, but they will work. You'll be driving with them over extended and it'll get shot pretty quick.

So in order to really get the best of my lift set up for the front I would need to go with something with a longer extended length which could be the 4runner/Tacoma 5100's?

Yes correct or the Tundra 5100s. Don't necessarily have to go with the Bilsteins. There are other options out there but the 5100s might be the best bang for your buck.

If you go with Bilstein 5100s, the Tundra ones have 5 notches rather than 3, which gives you one extra lower notch if you want the additional option of setting it up with a 2.5" front lift rather than the 3"-3.25" the Tacoma ones give you.
