I know this is last minute but I will taking a trip into lyttle creek tomorrow morning around 8 am. There will be a good amount of snow and now traffic at all like the roads heading up to big bear. The entrance is Sierra Ave off the 15 freeway. I go about once every two weeks up there so I know all the roads. Will be a fun trip no doubt!!

I'm taking the family up to big bear tomorrow. Will be at the 330 by 7 a.m. hope to miss the traffic.

I saw lots of friends post and traffic was insane!! You should be fine heading up that early. I was planning on heading to big bear but the trails have like 4 feet so I would not make it far.

This is where I can meet someone that is interested in going. Will be here at 8:30 it is a shell gas station.

Sounds great. I just saw this post but I'm going to attempt to make it to fontana.

Traffic was worse than insane on the way down. The worst I have ever seen.

I will never do that again.

From Sierra, where did you guys enter to the trail? I've taken few different entrances to lytle creek.. And I would've never known that it gets that much snow!!! Wish I saw this sooner!

Here's some pics I took. That red dodge went down to help someone up and ended up getting sucked in I a huge ditch that was there.

This is the road past the shooting range. You don't continue straight
But rather cross the wash. There was a good amount of snow. Let me know when you want to go I'm 5 minutes away from Sierra and the 15 fwy always down for a quick trip up lyttle creek.

nice!! ive exited from the shooting range entrance.. i've also come down from end.. lol i've actually gotten a flat on this trail, didn't think i needed to air down and a rock ended up puncturing one of my tires. SMH! anyhoo, i live off baseline myself, and lytle creek is always nice to hit up. Supposedly going to rain a bit more this weekened, think it'll snow there once again?

It's been absolutely crazy up here on the weekends, it's like half of Mexico decided going to play in the snow and leave their trash behind was a national pastime, it's really sad to see the disrespect for such a beautiful natural environment.

When I left one day there was bumper to bumper traffic from BB dam all the way down the 330 to the 210 - nuts.

Family were there this weekend snowboarding and it was great but the traffic back down was crazy. I know what you mean. They park just about anywhere on a 2 lane road making traffic worse. Signs that said no parking anytime doesn't mean anything...ridiculous!

I was up in Big Bear too this weekend and was pretty packed. I took the 18 out on Saturday towards Lucerne Valley and it was completely smooth sailing. I even got to play around a bit on an offroad trail right off the 18. I know it's quite a bit farther and doesn't work as well depending on your destination. I still I much prefer to be moving if at all possible.

I thought about taking the long way around and should have. Live and learn. I know next time. I wanted to do some wheelin but wife wanted to get down the hill. Maybe hook up with @GVL next time.

I saw a lot of muddy Jeep YJs on the way out too. There seemed like quite a few areas to do a little wheeling. I think I'll head back up there sometime.
