Thank you to all that have posted info and links here over the years to make this latest purchase become a little more road worthy very quickly.

I bought this 95 2WD V6 3.0L for $1800 at auction two weeks ago and began working on it shortly after finding this forum and doing a lot of searching and reading. So far in two weeks time I've...

Replaced power antenna
Replaced front signal lens
Replaced valve cover gaskets
Dropped transmission pan for a filter and solenoid kit change, was slipping some but now it's not
Changed oil and filter
Replaced air filter
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced multl-function switch for nonworking washers and rear wiper
Replaced rotor, cap and plug wires
Repaired console top hinge
Shampooed/deodorized the seats and rear to get the dog funk smell out

Still to come...A/C check, the belt has been removed for some reason. I Ohmed out the magnetic clutch and the reading to ground was four to five times higher than spec of 3.6 ohms. Don't know what is going to happen when the belt is installed. Anyone have a guess on that one?

I still should look into the timing belt and water pump replace as I have no clue as to the mileage on the belt.

The multi disc changer just runs through three discs like it looks at them but doesn't play any of them. Is it toast? No manual as to how to operate it.

Waay too clean and shiney, wheel it :)

Is that a wood planer I see behind that Craftsman tool chest? Did you make those wall cabinets too?

It is too clean isn't it? Yep, an older Delta 12" planer, bought when they first came out. Those cabinets are just throw togethers from scrap boards I had taking up space before I up sized the shop.
I enjoy wood working as a hobby now. I used to work for a cabinet maker in the evenings and have made a lot of hardwood furniture in the past. I like to work with walnut and oak.
I made a really nice center console from walnut for a older Ford 4WD Bronco I had, should have sold it separately from the truck.
