Quiet but still agressive tires.

I've had and liked all of these:

- BFG A/T KO
- Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo
- Toyo Open Country A/T
- Yokohama Geolander HT-S

The Bridgestones were my favorite but the Toyos were very close at a much better price. The BFG's are classics, but the tread patterns of the other 3 are improvements for both traction and noise.

I have kumoho road venture mt's on and I admit they like to talk back to me. But for having them for a year and about 28k miles with monthly rotation they are great for 70% on road.

However I am considering duratracs after I put my 3" lift on because of what I've been reading and this thread is helping. If you decide on a tire and your job consists of a lot of delivery trucks where they have an account with a company and you're in good with management see if you canorder through them. ;-)

the Nittos are just fine

The Nitto Terra Grapplers are just fine. Not loud at all for an aggressive tread.

I am a bit disappointed with the wear rate-but admit I do not keep up on my rotations like I should. I am pushing 38K on them now and it is time for new set.

I am leaning towards some General Grabber AT2, and even considering the Wal Mart onlys- Goodyear Authority -which seem to me a good value for the tread depth offered.
